Burton Green is a village and civil parish in the Warwick district of the county of Warwickshire, England, some 4.8 km northwest of Kenilworth and 8.8 km southwest of Coventry. The house itself is a corner plot within a cul-de-sac of a new housing estate, built to house local families who want to be close to the city but an escape. We have one pub, "Hickorys" which is an American Smokehouse. Leave your car at home and walk the 15-20 minutes to sample their delicious cocktails. In the summer, lounge around all day in the stylish garden. Alternativley get out into nature, or take a short trip to neighbouring town Kenilworth, the farm shop in Balsall Common, outlet shopping at Resorts World, visits Coventry's history or Shakespears home of Stratford Upon Avon is just 25 minutes away. It is nestled between some truly beautiful countryside. We'll recommend a variety of walks including visiting local woods. We're on the doorstep of the "Green Way". The Kenilworth to Berkswell Greenway is a linear Country Park in south Warwickshire countryside, following a 6.5 km section of former railway, with the park extending to around 16 hectares. The Greenway, as well as being a linear Country Park, is a permissive bridleway which means that it can be used by pedestrians, cyclists and horse-riders. It is also regularly used by athletes, educationalists, scientists, geologists, archaeologists and for geocaching. The Greenway follows the old railway branch line from Berkswell to Kenilworth Junction, first opened in 1884. Left to itself, the old railway became a wildlife corridor. Hawthorn, birch and other plants quickly took hold and softened the edges, animals and birds found cover for dens and nests. Warwickshire County Council took ownership in the 1970′s but apart from work to clear a wider path, it was left to the walkers and the wildlife. A car is recommended although there are buses and Uber is easy to come by. To Warwick University > 7 minutes by car, 15 minutes by bus, 45 minutes by foot To Coventry > 20 minutes by car, 40 minutes by bus To Kenilworth > 7 minutes by car or a scenic 45 minute walk via the "Greenway" To Balsall Common > 7 minutes To Leamington Spa > 20 minutes To Birmingham Airport/NEC/Resorts World > 20 minutes To Birmingham City Centre > 40 minutes You can walk to our local pub/restaurant Hickorys in 15-20 minutes. An Uber to Warwick University is £8 An Uber to Coventry city centre is £14 Groceries/food can be delivered in a short time via Deliveroo, Uber Eats or Just-Eat. The nearest large supermarket is a 7 minute drive or 40 minute walk. Prices and journey times are an estimate and vary depending on route and time of day. Dogs and pets: well behaved dogs welcome. Bowls provided. We can connect you with a local dog walker too, should you want to go exploring for the day! The gym should only be used with someone else present and is used at your own risk. There is CCTV around the perimeter of the property and a smart doorbell. Strictly no parties (loud music, unauthorised guests etc). The short-term rental will be terminated. Please ensure the BBQ is fully cleaned after use.

A lovely furnished 4 bed town house including delightful modern conveniences with Jewellery Quarter being only 0.6 miles away and 1.7 miles to Birmingham New street. Our house is great for families 4 double bedrooms, 4 beds, 1 sofa bed (for guest 9 and 10) to sleep 10 people. . Fast wifi-(350Mbps download speed, 7Mbps upload speed) . 3 smart TVs (Netflix) in living room and two bedrooms. .Twin beds option available in two rooms for non family members. . 3 Bathrooms (1 en-suite) . USB points in all rooms; great for international travellers who may have forgotten their adaptors. . CCTV for your protection. . Off street Parking for one car. Free on street parking. This lovely modern 4 bed town house has a private front entrance, which leads into the hallway with a bathroom on the ground floor and a tastefully furnished open plan living dinning and kitchen leading onto a patio/garden. The living room has a 43 inch smart TV which has internet based apps such as Netflix, etc. With our superfast fibre optic broadband, streaming will be a breeze. There is also a big dinning table suitable for business travellers who need to have meetings. The super fast wifi will enable one to perform their work at optimal efficiency. On the 1st floor there are 2 double bedrooms, one of which has an ensuite. On the 2nd floor there are also 2 double bedrooms. The kitchen is equipped with modern conveniences; cooking utensils such as microwave, toaster, kettle, cooker, oven and a dishwasher. There is also a washer dryer in the utility cupboard. Guests will have access to the whole house. I am not available in person but available by phone and text. Guest will self check in using a lock box and will have access to the whole house. Hockley is the location of the Museum of the Jewellery Quarter and Birmingham Mint. Vittoria Street in Hockley is home to Birmingham Institute of Art and Design's Jewellery School, and The Big Peg arts & crafts workshop cluster is nearby. Housing in the area is generally characterised by well-built Victorian villas and terraces. There are several bars and restaurants in the Jewellery Quarter and a very large Tesco ( a superstore for groceries, and other essentials such as cosmetics, toiletries, clothes, electronics, etc.) . You can also take bus 101 from Livery street ( which is a 6 minute walk from Birmingham new street station). Alternatively, for those that love taking long walks, it is a 30 minute walk ( less than 2 miles) from Birmingham New street station. Parking There is Off street parking for one car. There is On street parking for more than one car. There is CCTV to the external house on the front, side and back for security purposes. Parties are strictly prohibited and there is a zero tolerance for it. Smoking is not allowed under any circumstances within the house. Charges of £300 will be made if there is any smoking in the property. On booking, Svelte Living will issue out a reservation form (which requires all names of the guests that will be staying and the purpose of stay.) along with a Terms and conditions which must be signed.
