The apartment is in the historic center of Lisbon. It’s located between the trendy Cais do Sodré, fashionable Chiado and really close to the riverside. Excellent shops, some of the best and trendy restaurants, and historical landmarks like the Mercado da Ribeira/Time Out Market or Largo do Chiado are at 5 minutes walk. There is also some great night life spots if you want to stay up a little later and easy access to public transport. The apartment is located between the overly touristic areas and those areas where still more locals live and mingle. For the local feel around the apartment, during the day you can see commuters coming in through the nearby ferry port of Cais do Sodre, visit Time Out Market and Mercado da Ribeira the main fruit, vegetable, meat and poultry market. You got local restaurants, I visited with my parents when I was a child and you can enjoy the bars of Pink Street around midnight and later (all within 2 min of the apartment). At the same time you are at the edge of our historical sights that are all within 5-15 min walking and 1 min away from one of the notorious tram 28 stops. The closest public transport hubs are Cais do Sodre or (Baixa)/Chiado. Tram 28 stops around the corner and Rossio (for Sintra) is a 10 minute walk from the apartment. There is two paid underground parking 5 minutes from the apartment. Apartment has lift access and two main entrances with easy access to Chiado and Riverside in Cais do Sodre. Cotton sheets, duvets, towels and final cleaning are included in your stay. If you stay more than 7 days a cleaning, change of bed sheets and towels can be arranged upon request. Additional charges may be applied. Children of any age are welcome to my apartment. If you require a complimentary baby cot (2x) or chair (1x), please let me know in advance. The apartment has car access. For parking we recommend parking garages nearby. We can arrange transfer service to and from the airport and sightseeing and boat tours in and around Lisbon at very competitive prices. Ask for details if interested. The apartment is at short walking distance to grocery shops and public transport. It is close to touristy areas but tucked away enough from the hustle and bustle and noise of the busy streets. From the apartment, it's a short walk to the Rossio train station and Baixa. Avenida metro is just around the corner and the city's extensive bus services also serve this main street well, so getting around is easy. Jardim do Torel, a hidden park with a splendid view and in summer boasting free swimming and a sandy beach, is a 5 minute walk. It's a 10 min walk to Bairro Alto and Principe Real, and some 15 min to the São Jorge Castle and Praça do Comércio. Bairro Alto is a picturesque old quarter and well known for its bars, restaurants and trendy shops. Principe Real is a gay-friendly area, boasting with antique shops and galleries around the namesake square with an outdoor market offering traditional Portuguese products. São Jorge Castle is surrounded by traditional Portuguese neighbourhoods and is located on one of the seven hills of Lisbon. From there, you can enjoy the most breathtaking views of the city and the Tagus River. The apartment location is excellent. The Metro (Avenida station) is just across the street, and at a walking distance there are the Rossio train station bound to the World Heritage village of Sintra and the Cais do Sodré train station bound to the beaches. When arriving from the airport, it is possible to use the Aerobus, Metro (red line to São Sebastião, change to blue line direction Santa Apolónia) or taxi, which costs 20 Euros. Guests arriving by car can use a secure parking close to the apartment at 13 Euros per 24h. A tailored guidebook highlight Lisbon's most interesting attractions as well as hidden gems is also available upon arrival. The apartment is a non-smoking and pet free environment. Parties and events are not allowed. As mentioned, there is no elevator so people with reduced mobility may find the climb up the stairs too challenging.

This charming duplex apartment is part of an historical building, located in one of the most beautiful areas of Lisbon - Saint Vincent. The house is out of the traffic lanes and it has a river view. São Vicente é o santo padroeiro de Lisboa e da zona a que deu nome, nasceu a cidade de Lisboa. O Mosteiro de São Vicente, o Panteão Nacional e o Castelo encontram-se a apenas alguns metros. A casa encontra-se fora das vias de trânsito, em um páteo Público junto ao portão do Palácio de São Vicente (casa de particular), onde pode disfrutar o rio sentado no miradouro em frente a casa. Apesar de não ser um páteo privado (só da casa) aqui pode aproveitar para fazer um barbecou, ou simplesmente ler um livro sem ser incomodado pelo ruído da cidade. This charming duplex apartment is in the first and second floor of an historic building, located in one of the most beautiful areas of Lisbon - Saint Vincent. Saint Vincent is the patron saint of Lisbon and from the area that gave its name, was born Lisbon. The house is located in a patio (public) at the gate of the São Vicente Palace (private property), where you can enjoy the river sitting at the viewpoint in front of the house. The "patio" it´s not private and restrict to the house guests but once it is out of the traffic lanes, you may enjoy it even to do a barbecue out there or simply read a book without being bothered by the noise of the city. The apartment it will be available just for our guests (and their group/family) and the entrance is totally independent from the other apartments. At the "patio" in the front of the house, the guests may PARK one car for free during the weekend but in the working days its not possible to Park there and guest may need to Park in other zone - we recommend One of the two options : for free at the back of the church (60 meters distance) but Tuesday and saturday it is forbiden because of the flea market that happen on that area (the car should be removed on the day before - Monday and Thursday before 23h. Tuesdays we recommend to park in front of the church (40 meters from the apartment) - the cost for parking here it Will be 8 euros a day. We will be totally available to help you! The house receives from sunrise to sunset plenty of natural light and is prepared with all necessary furniture and equipment, including a central heating pellets stove. With a 50m2 livingroom, a main bedroom with 180cm king size bed, a second bedroom with 140 cm large bed, this house comfortably accommodate 4 adults. This apartment is not an ordinary apartment. It has a very particular atmosphere that should be considered when making the choice in this apartment to spend your holidays. While it is true that 99% of guests completely identify with their previous choice when they arrive at our apartment, unfortunately we have already had the misfortune to receive twice, guests who have not identified, so we appreciate you proceeding with careful observation of the photos and description before proceeding with your reservation, in order to avoid your dissatisfaction that just by some mistake made the reservation with us. A building dating back to 1512. A former convent destroyed by the 1755 earthquake, was recovered to become a very special apartment. The old convent kitchen now converted into a single room features fireplace with traces of the violent earthquake. The entire space has traces of sec XVI and XVII. Columns, old stairs, forged irons. Traces of the eighteenth century tiles are shown at the entrance. A kitchen adapted from an old hallway that led to the other dependencies of the convent, features modern design and almost high-tech. The dining room with decorative tribute to the Chinese porcelain of the eighteenth century of Portuguese comissions. Two very special rooms, facing the majestic fireplace, recall the old cells of the convent. A small toilet, that was recovered from an old one. The master bedroom reveals a more modern decor but with references to a older times furniture. The main bathroom with two basins, spa bath and shower. An apartment of 1500, with facilities of the twenty-first century.
