Around this area is the Golden Pavilion and Ryoanji Temple with the famous Zen Garden and many more tourist spots. Also, this is a great location to go to the Arashiyama.

Welcome to Guesthouse " Bamboo Town "! This is a traditional town-house in Kyoto built in the early 1900s and renovated in 2015. Walking distance from Kitano Tenmangu as well as Kyoto's oldest geisha district Kamishichi-ken. Also, 10 minutes to the famous Kinkakuji (Golden Pavilion) and Nijo castle by bicycle. We have 4 bicycles prepared for our guests! Also, because this is an old Kyoto-town house, there is only one shower outside. So, I have prepared free tickets for nearby public-bath!
